Admirals JFC gain FA Charter Standard!
We are proud to announce our successful attainment of the prestigious - FA CHARTER STANDARD.

Admirals would like to say a big thank you to Coventry City FC & in particular Claire Boden Community Involvement co-ordinator for making it all possible.

The recruitment of the next generation of the Sky Blue Army is in full swing follwing the recent launch of Coventry City's Junior Football Clubs Initiative and a contingent from from Admirals JFC have been making thee most of the merits.

The new scheme has certainly been a huge hit so far with over 3,000 children from many local football clubs experiencing the Ricoh roar and enticing youngsters to become lifelong City fans.

Admirals have surpassed 100 tickets bought this season and to say a big thank you, Coventry City Football Club decided to treat Admirals to a day out with a difference...

Thirteen aspiring footballers and their parents were invited to take part in the 'Sky Blue Junior Football Club Meet a Player Day'. They came along to the state-of-the-art Ricoh Media Centre to interview Robert Page and David McNamee.

After quizzing Robert and David, Admirals JFC were presented with an autographed football signed by all the first-team squad including Sky Blues boss Iain Dowie and some complimentary tickets to watch Sky Blues comprehensively beat Hull City 2-0.


30/03/07 - Club Officials get a shout in the local rag...

Last nights Rubgy Advertiser mentioned that Dean Riley The Club Secretary was the winner of the "Unsung Hero" Award, Joint third place of "Club Coach of The Year" went to one Chris "The General" Montgomery and there was also a valid nomination for Richard Tailby "Manager of the Year". Well done to all Admirals Personnel for their efforts to date.


Red Brick sponsor Admirals Festival of Football

Admirals Junior Football Club are celebrating the announcement of Red Brick Estate Agents as their main sponsor for their 4th Festival of Football to be held over the weekend of 12th - 13th May. The FA Charter Standard Football Club provides a relaxed and enjoyable environment to encourage the talents of their children to grow, under the guidance of their FA qualified coaches. The newly formed U’12’s girls side has just won the league title in their first full season together.

Ian Smith of Red Brick Estate Agents comments "We are delighted to offer our support as main sponsors to the Admirals Festival of Football 2007. This is the 3rd successive year we have been involved with their football tournament and we are excited by the interest shown not only by teams from Rugby but the participation of clubs from the neighbouring counties. We wish them all the best for the weekend."

Their tournament has now grown from the initial 150 teams in 2004 to 200 teams for 2007 with teams travelling from Coventry, Leicester, Northampton and Birmingham. Admirals cater for both boys and girls at their tournament, whilst this year achieving every age group for the boys from U7 to U16. In excess of 1600 children are expected to take part over the course of the weekend to be held at Newbold Rugby Football Club.

Whilst last year the event helped to raise funds for the Warwickshire Air Ambulance Appeal, this year Admirals shall be donating part of any money raised to The Warwickshire Community Children’s Nursing Team. This team of nurses and support staff provide high quality specialised care for children, young people and their families, enabling those in their care with a nursing need or life limiting or threatening condition to reach their full potential at home, school and community.
